Setting up the Tally Ho! Lobster Grader

The upper left icon calls up a menu of functions for setting up the Tally Ho! These are shown next.

Operator Name

Pressing the "Login" button brings up the following screen:

NOTE: This screen is also accessed by pressing "New User" on the Tally Ho! operating screen at the start and at the end of an operators shift.

Pressing the button beside the "User Name" brings up the following screen which provides the means to enter the name of the lobster packer.

The on-screen keyboard is used to type the operator name. Pressing "Enter" accepts the name typed. Pressing "Cancel" returns to the previous screen with no changes.

	This control allows the operator to establish the starting lot number, which may also be the order number. Pressing the up-arrow increases the number shown. Pressing the down-arrow decreases the number.
	This control allows the operator to establish the target weight for the boxes to be packed. As above, pressing the up-arrow increases the number shown. Pressing the down-arrow decreases the number.
	Pressing the "Accept" button returns to the set-up screen with the changes made. Pressing "Cancel" returns with no changes made.

Pressing the "Setup" button on the Tally Ho! setup screen leads to the following screen:

The operator can adjust the weight range width of the graphical weight display window by pressing the up-arrow or down-arrow. The target box weight can be adjusted in a similar manner.

Pressing the "Logging Server Setup" button leads to:

This button controls whether or not the weight information will be sent to another computer (which requires a radio link).

This button MUST be checked if a tally is to be recorded on the office computer. If it is unchecked, the number of boxes, total weight and average weight will be displayed on the Tally Ho! screen only, and will disappear when the "END LOT" is pressed. Pressing this button will check / uncheck the control.

These numbers MUST be matched to the address set in the server program running on the office computer.

Normally, these numbers will be set once at installation. However, the address may be changed by pressing on each number in turn. A numeric keyboard will appear. The new number may be keyed in.

This number must also be matched to the port number set in the server program running on the office computer.

Normally, this number will be set once at installation. However, the number may be changed by pressing on left-arrow or the right-arrow.

This button controls the name of the work station. This name appears on the reports generated on the office computer.

The name can be changed by pressing the button. A keyboard will appear and the new name can be typed in and entered. The original name must be backspaced out befor the new name is entered.

Pressing "Apply" accepts any changes made and returns to the settings screen. Pressing "Cancel" returns to the settings screen with no changes.

Pressing "Save Settings" saves all changes made and returns to the setup screen.

Pressing "Return to Menu" returns to the setup screen.

On the setup screen, pressing "Back to Tally Ho!" returns to the operating screen.
